Give Hope Wings Expedition Itinerary 2026

Overview

We are excited to announce an Atlantic Canada route for GHW 2026!
We hope that many of the Western, Central and Eastern pilots from previous expeditions will join together for another great GHW expedition.
The official start of GHW 2026 is St. John's on August 6 but there is an optional 2 nights stay in Halifax on August 4 and 5 for pilots comfortable with the flight from Halifax to St. John's .
For pilots not comfortable with that flight, please make your own route to St. John's, probably via Labrador.
We will enjoy 3 nights in St. John's with a possible gander over to Gander!
After that we will head west with 2 overnights in Goose Bay including a Hope Air event on August 10.
After overnight stops in Rimouski and Trois-Rivieres, the expedition moves on to Sudbury for 2 overnights with a closing gala event on Friday August 14.
This is a total of about 2217nm if you fly the entire route, about 19 hours at 130K. This is for the Expedition route only, plus your mileage to and from your home base.

The Expedition is organized so that you may join the group at any airport and finish at any airport.
